Passengers and vehicles must arrive at the port of embarkation for the required check-in at least 1 hour before scheduled departure.
The ticket is strictly personal. It is not transferable to another person and it is valid only for the class and the final decision for which it has been issued.
- After departure, the tickets cannot be changed or converted to open date tickets and it is not possible to make any change to the date of journey.
- Tickets that have already been converted to open date, can be canceled with a penalty of 50% of their value.
- Tickets can be canceled only by the company “I. SPANAKIS & SIA CO.(TELLUS TRAVEL), hereinafter referred to as the “Company”. Tickets can not be canceled by phone and the holders should deliver them or send them to the “company”.

WE DONT CHARGE SERVICE FEES FOR THE CHANGE OF THE TICKETS
If we have sent you the tickets, you will have to send them back to us. The new tickets will either be sent to you again – if you pay the mail cost again – or we can arrange for you to pick them up at the port of departure, the day of departure at no extra charge (provided always that the shipping company supports prepaid/electronic ticket).
LOST OF TICKET
If you lose your ticket, please:
- Make it known to the “company” in a written form (TELLUS TRAVEL)
- In order to travel you need to buy new tickets. Provided that until the end of the year, the shipping company will confirm that the ticket not used, you have the right to get a refund of the ticket or to get a new ticket of equal value. In any case, this depends on the decision of the shipping company.
LATE OF DEPARTURE
Our company is not responsible for any delay in ship departure, deviation or change of the planned itinerary due to bad weather, mandate of the Greek Ministry of Sea Affairs or of the Port Authorities or due to force majeure, which may endanger the safety of the passengers.
In case of cancellation of the planned itinerary due to force majeure (eg bad weather, storm, natural disaster) or for reasons relating to the shipping company, the passengers are entitled to full reimbursement from the shipping company. In these cases, the “company”, has no responsibility and no further obligation. The shipping companies have the right to a ship replacement, in agreement with the Greek Ministry of Sea Affairs.
LIST OF PASSENGERS
According to the EU Directive 98/41/EK of the Council, the Presidential Decree 23/1999 of the Greek State and the International Convention SOLAS, in order to make a reservation, passengers are obliged they to inform the shipping company for the following items, because the latter should hold a list of passengers for each trip, for safety reasons. Therefore, tickets are issued in the name of each passenger and certainly include:
NAME AND SURNAME OF THE PASSENGER
SEX: MALE / FEMALE
AGE: ADULT – CHILDREN – INFANT
CIRCULATION NUMBER AND TYPE OF VEHICLE
In addition, the shipping company should be informed, for passengers with disabilities at the time of ticket issue. Moreover, issuing a ticket when boarding is strictly prohibited.
FARES / DISCOUNTS
The fares include passenger transport in the selected class and all port charges (only on domestic lines). Meals and drinks are not included. In case of further discounts, only the highest in rate discount is given to the passenger. Passengers that are entitled to a discount, are requested to declare it when booking and to provide all necessary evidence, both in issuing the ticket, and when boarding the ship.
After issuing the ticket it is not possible to refund money for any disputes that may arise. Groups, trucks, buses, trailers, and unaccompanied trailers are subject to special agreements (firstname.lastname@example.org). Children under 5 years old (infants) travel free of charge ONLY in economic class but not to the high speed ferries. In the classes (eg cabins) are entitled to a 50% discount (child fare). Also, they travel for free to all classes in high speed ferries. Children aged 5-10 years receive 50% discount to the standard fare in all classes in all type of ferries. Student discount is given only to students of Greek public universities.
SAFETY AT SEA
The shipping companies are not responsible for accidents, losses or damage occurring prior to boarding and loading and after unloading. It is strictly forbidden for passengers to carry weapons, explosives, flammable materials and other hazardous substances at sea. In accordance with the Greek and the European legislation and regulations for safety in high-speed ferries, passengers are not allowed to remain in the open spaces of the high speed ferries throughout the journey.
The luggage of passengers may remain in their vehicles. Passengers are requested to bring with them their personal items that may need during the trip. Access to the garage of the ferry during the voyage, is prohibited. The shipping companies are not responsible for loss of money or valuables from cars, luggage, common areas of the ship or cabins. Passengers can deliver their money and valuables in the reception of the ships, so as to be safe.
Pets travel for free. Also, pets are not allowed in inside public areas and cabins. Their owners are responsible for feeding and hygiene, while at the same time, are required to have their pet’s health book.
GENERAL OBLIGATIONS OF THE PASSENGERS
Passengers must comply with the relevant Port, Health and Customs regulations. Furthermore, they must comply with the instructions of the captain and the crew regarding the order and security at sea. Moreover, passengers must inform the captain or the crew for any problems that may arise at sea. For complaints and suggestions they may also contact the customer service of the “company”, in email@example.com, after the end the trip.
CANCELLATION OF TICKETS
Tickets can only be canceled from the offices of the “company” or form the head offices of each shipping company.
